Terms & Conditions
The fair, plain-language terms that govern every Kom Traders order.
By placing an enquiry or order with Kom Traders, you agree to the following terms. We keep them simple because honest business needs no fine print.
1. Products & Natural Stone Variation
All our products are hand-carved from natural stone. Natural variation in colour, veining, grain and minor surface texture is a hallmark of genuine stone, not a defect. Since every piece is carved by hand, slight artistic variation from catalogue photographs is expected and celebrated.
2. Quotations & Pricing
- Prices shown on this website are estimated ranges only. A final written quotation is provided on WhatsApp or email based on size, stone, finish and delivery destination.
- Quotations remain valid for 15 days unless stated otherwise, as stone block prices and transport rates fluctuate.
- Custom orders require an advance payment as mutually agreed, with balance payable before dispatch.
3. Production Timeline
Hand carving takes time. Standard pieces typically require 2–6 weeks; monumental statues, temples and large architectural orders may require 8–16 weeks. A committed timeline is shared in writing with your order confirmation, and progress photographs are shared during production.
4. Approval Before Dispatch
Every completed order is photographed and video-shared for your approval before crating. Dispatch takes place only after your confirmation. For custom portrait work, likeness approvals are taken at defined stages during carving.
5. Delivery & Installation
Delivery is arranged through trusted transporters in export-grade. Unless specifically included in your quotation, unloading and installation at your site are the buyer's responsibility — though our team remains available on call to guide your local mason through installation.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the goods supplied. We are not responsible for damage arising from improper handling, installation or site conditions after delivery acceptance.
7. Dispute Resolution
We resolve concerns through direct conversation first — most matters settle in a single call. Any unresolved dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Dausa, Rajasthan.
